Celebrated star Rajinikanth and popular director N Shankar initiated the launch of ÂChaitram a new film, on Thursday 16 April, at Ramoji Film City. Introducing Surya a new face as hero, in the direction of Raju Upati, filmmaker Vijay of Suresh Productions is producing it on a new banner Rakesh Circuits.
The star and director are in the city shooting for their latest venture ÂRobo at RFC and graced the occasion as special guests.
Rajinikanth gave the clap; Shankar did the honorary direction while popular cinematographer Sekhar V Joseph switched on the camera for the fist ceremonial shot. Hero Suray and senior actor cum writer Paruchuri Venkateswar Rao are featured voicing the dialogue ÂTirigede Bhoomi, Kalede Nippu, Poradevade ManishiÂ
so all the bestÂ.
Apart from hero Surya the movie will introduce two new faces as heroines, and the supporting cast includes some popular artists along with Paruchuri Venkateswar Rao. The regular shooting will begin from 15th of May. The shooting is planned at the locales of Karamchedu, Polachi, Hyderabad, Ramoji Film City and Malaysia.
The makers expressed their thanks to Rajanikanth and Shankar for gracing the occasion and participating in the event.
Briefing on the movie on the occasion director Raju said Âthe title ÂChaitrram with tag The Season of Love, reminds us of the beginning of Spring, which signifies the emergence of new growth, like the new bloom of flowers and leaves on trees. Similarly our movie marks a beginning of love. Like the various seasons in a year, the movie will feature schoolage, college, and marriage as seasons in a manÂs life. We have designed ÂChaitram as a feel good move, it will have 80 percent comedy and 20 percent emotional sequences. I am sure it will appeal to viewers of all age groups.
The film has some of the top technicians in industry like, Thota Tharani directing the Art work, Shekhar V Josph is the cenimatographer, Editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, Dialogues are penned by Ramesh-Gopi, Balu composed the music to lyrics composed by Chandra Bose.
